Ron Minton




Ron Minton earned his B.A. in Greek at Grace College and his M. Div. at Grace Theological Seminary (thesis, "Capital Punishment and the Bible").

His Th. M., also from Grace, was in Hebrew and OT Studies (thesis, "Chronological Notes on the Life of Christ"). He received the Th. D. from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minnesota (dissertation, "Biblical Perspective on Elders").

Ron has presented scholarly papers at various meetings and has published articles and reviews in fundamentalist and evangelical periodicals. He frequently conducts seminars on "How We Got the Bible" (about forty such seminars in the past six years) and also on "The Modern Charismatic and Faith Healing Movement." He is currently finishing a book, "The Making and Preservation of the Bible." Dr. Minton has taught at Boston Baptist College, Baptist Bible College Graduate School in Springfield, Mo., Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, N.C., and Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Md.

In late 2005, he and his wife Nancy (married July 4, 1972, with two adult children) are going as full time missionaries to Ukraine. Ron will teach and administer International Baptist Bible College. This school supplies pastors for the church-planting ministry the Mintons have in Ukraine.
